Montonati, ranked the No. 74 overall recruit nationally by 247Sports, has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in the 2026 class. He’s played for the powerhouse MOKAN EYBL program and even won gold with USA Basketball at the 2023 FIBA U16 Americas Championship.
The Owasso standout has drawn scholarship offers from some of the biggest names in college basketball, including Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Indiana, Alabama, USC, Michigan, and more. He’s already taken official visits to Kansas State and Oklahoma, with another scheduled at Oklahoma State this weekend.
Montonati has made his name as a versatile scorer, especially from deep. At the prestigious City of Palms Classic, he averaged 24.3 points per game and shot nearly 49% from three-point range.
