In addition to the possibility of rain this weekend, metro Phoenix motorists will have to contend with some planned freeway road closures.
“Schedules are subject to change due to rain,” read a statement by the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The department plans and constructs new freeways, additional lanes and other improvements in the Phoenix area as part of the Regional Transportation Plan for the Maricopa County region.
For real-time highway conditions, drivers should checkĀ az511.gov, the az511 app or call 511.
