Man dies in shooting at apartment on San Antonio’s West Side, suspected shooter surrenders without incident

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man has died after he was shot while arguing with another man at a West Side apartment complex.

San Antonio police say it happened at around 1 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of South Zarzamora.

That’s where two men were arguing in the parking lot until one of them went inside.

The second man followed him and began knocking on the door.

Police say the first man then fired several shots through the door, hitting the second man in the leg and abdomen.

The man who was shot is at a hospital where he later died. Police say he was 35-years-old but haven’t released his name.

The alleged shooter, a 29-year-old man, surrendered to police and was brought in for questioning.

No word yet on what he will be charged with.

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — One man is in custody while another is in the hospital after an argument takes a violent turn.

San Antonio police say it happened at around 1 a.m. Friday at an apartment complex near Highway 90 on the West Side.

Two men were arguing in the parking lot until one of them went inside.

The second man followed him and began knocking on the door.

Police say the first man then fired several shots through the door, hitting the second man in the leg and abdomen.

The man who was shot is at a hospital and there has been no update on his condition.

The alleged shooter surrendered to police and was brought in for questioning. There’s no word on what he could be charged with or what the men were arguing about as the investigation is still underway.
