Firefighters responded Thursday to a small fire outside the Hollywood Hills home of TV host Jimmy Kimmel.

Crews were called to the fire shortly after 7 a.m. in the 1600 block of Marmont Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A half-dozen firefighters responded to the reported rubbish fire on Kimmel’s property, described as abutting the side of his home.

Crews were able to put out the fire quickly. No injuries were reported.

It’s unclear how the fire was started. NBCLA has reached out to Jimmy Kimmel’s team for comment.

Sinclair and Nexstar announced Friday that they were bringing Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show back to its ABC affiliate stations, ending a dayslong TV blackout for dozens of cities across the U.S. over remarks the comedian made in the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s killing.
