My Drink Bomb, a fizzy cocktail or mocktail mixer, tied for third place in the annual competition to find the top new products in the Lone Star State.
SAN ANTONIO — Entrepreneurs from five Texas companies, including one in Houston, beat out hundreds of entries in the 2025 H-E-B 2025 Quest for Texas Best competition.
The winners were chosen from 370 entries by food innovators from 150 cities around the Lone Star State.
Houstonians Chloe Di Leo and Celeste Ly tied for third place with their My Drink Bomb, cocktail or mocktail mixers. The low-calorie, low-sugar mixers are crafted from natural ingredients that can turn any glass into a “ready-to-sip celebration.”
2025 H-E-B Quest for Texas Best winners
- Grand Prize Winner: $50,000: Oca Foods – Peanut Butter Bites and Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Bites (Austin)
- First Place Winner: $25,000: Tozi Super Foods – Totopos (tortilla chips) and Tortillas (Austin)
- Second Place Winner: $15,000: Deli Spices – Birria Spice Mix (McAllen)
- Third Place Winner: $10,000: My Drink Bomb – Cocktail Mixers (Houston)
- Third Place Winner: $10,000: Spicytude – Spices (Dallas)
In addition to the top five winners, H-E-B surprised the remaining five finalists each with $5,000. Three of them are from Houston:
A total of $135,000 was awarded to the 10 finalists.
H-E-B has discovered more than 1,000 unique products throughout the Lone Star State over the last decade, including coffee, cookies, pickles and pho.
Over the years, H-E-B has awarded nearly $2.75 million in prize money, along with marketing, mentoring, and supplemental support. Fifty-five Quest for Texas Best suppliers have also received a commemorative H-E-B Million Dollar Club belt buckle for achieving $1 million in sales.
