The San Antonio Zoo is offering special discounts ahead of World Teachers’ Day on Oct. 5 to honor educators for their hard work.

From Sept. 27 through World Teacher’s Day, Texas-based educators will receive free admission, along with discounts on any-day tickets of up to 50% for up to four guests.

To take advantage of the special, Texas teachers must show a valid photo ID, badge or teaching certificate from their district. The deal is valid for all Texas school districts and all accredited public, private or parochial schools in the state.

The deal can’t be used with other specials, deals or special events, according to San Antonio Zoo officials.

More information and online tickets are available at the zoo’s Teacher’s Day page
