(KNUE-FM) Recently I had family in town and it’s always fun to show off our home state of Texas. There are always lots of options as far as activities when they come to visit as there is always something going on.

There are a few things that should always be done when you have visitors coming to Texas, especially if it is their first time in the Lone Star State.

We all know that Texas is awesome but there isn’t time to drive across the whole state so you’re really going to have to prioritize which places you want to visit.

There are some locations that most visitors want to go, which often include the fast-food location Whataburger and the iconic convenience store Buc-ee’s. But at the top of your list for any friends or family that come to visit should be the Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas.

While many people think of the Stockyards as a place to grab dinner or maybe enjoy some live music and dancing it really is a collection of so many fun activities going on in one place.
