SAN ANTONIO — A 17-year-old driver was taken to the hospital after a hit-and-run crash on the city’s West Side.

The incident occurred Saturday night around 9:27 p.m. at the intersection of Old Hwy 90 and SW 34th Street.

The teen was driving eastbound through a green light when a gray Toyota Camry turned south onto SW 34th Street, causing a crash that the teen could not avoid.

The Camry’s driver took off on foot, leaving the scene without helping. The teen sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The driver of the Camry will be facing charges when located.
