SAN ANTONIO — An EMS first responder with the San Antonio Fire Department has been placed on administrative duty after being arrested on assault charges.
Michael Anthony Hernandez Jr., who is currently assigned to the EMS division with SAFD was arrested on Sep. 21 on a charge of assault causing bodily injury to a family member, jail records show.
SAFD confirmed he has been placed on administrative duty pending an investigation into the charges.
