Authorities have publicly identified a Ramona man who lost his life last week to a traffic crash in his eastern San Diego-area hometown.
Jason Hunter, 43, was driving an SUV that veered off the roadway in the 24000 block San Vicente Road and struck a tree on Wednesday, according to the county Medical Examiner’s Office.
Hunter was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at about 10 p.m., the agency reported. The exact time of the crash was unclear, the medical examiner reported.
