HAGERSTOWN- On Wednesday, October 22, from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, at City Hall, 1 East Franklin Street; residents, businesses and organizational representatives are invited to attend a Town Hall public meeting to share feedback about cable television and broadband service from Antietam.

The City is holding this Town Hall to gather input from the community in order to evaluate Antietam’s performance during the current franchise term with the City of Hagerstown and to assess the community’s future cable-service needs. Residents, non-profit groups, business representatives, educators, and civic leaders are invited to participate, even if they are not currently Antietam customers.

Feedback from the public is helpful to ensure the City understands and can best represent the community’s interests as the City prepares to negotiate a new franchise agreement with the company.

Attendees are encouraged to share their comments and experiences regarding the cable television company’s quality of customer service, technical and signal quality, consumer complaint response, billing practices, and service and repair response, as well as provide input on future cable television related needs and interests in Hagerstown. City employees will also be on hand to explain the current and planned use of Hagerstown’s government access station, Hub City Now Channel 25.

The Town Hall will be televised, and members of the public unable to attend in-person are encouraged to submit comments to the City at CableFranchiseComments@hagerstownmd.org.
