Yeah, this was a silly idea.
The Los Angeles Rams (owned by Stan Kroenke) invited the Colorado Avalanche (owned by Kroenke) to their Thursday Night Football showdown with the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5.
Kroenke owns four Colorado sports teams — the Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Rapids (MLS), Colorado Mammoth (NNL) and Avs (NHL) — but his NFL team is the Rams, a franchise he uprooted from St. Louis and moved to L.A.
So it’s no surprise that his NFL team invited his NHL team to a game, but Denver Broncos fans certainly weren’t happy about it, understandably so.
This is disrespectful to our Colorado sports culture. They should be wearing a Broncos jersey no matter what football game they are at. 😂 come on boys.

I know Kroenke owns the Rams but this literally makes me want to get my Avs tattoo removed. Be better.

Ummmmm, this is not the Broncos….

Not a Broncos fan but here to ratio out of principle.

I am a former St. Louis Rams fan who is now a Denver Broncos fan.
This triggers my hatred of Stan Kroenke on so many different levels.

As the hometown hockey team, the Avs have gotten plenty of support from the Broncos (and quarterback Bo Nix!) and the Avs post support for Denver’s NFL team on social media, but Thursday’s development was a big turnoff to Colorado sports fans.
The Rams lost to the Niners, 26-23, at SoFi Stadium on Thursday evening.
