Genesis Hotel Services, a Dallas-based provider of hotel and hospitality property renovations, has been acquired by Atlanta-based Ameribrands.
Ameribrands is a holding company that owns businesses serving multi-site brands across industries. In a September announcement, the company said the addition of Genesis strengthens its ability to deliver fast, consistent renovation projects at scale across the hospitality sector. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2006, Genesis has renovated more than 40,000 hotel rooms nationwide, based on the number of “hotel keys” completed, according to Ameribrands. The Genesis website also notes that its leadership and core teams have worked together since 2003.
Genesis specializes in occupied remodels—projects completed while properties remain in operation—with dedicated crews and a reputation for minimizing disruption.
“Ameribrands’ vision of excellence in execution aligns closely with our own,” said Genesis CEO Matt Daniel in a statement. “By joining forces, we can serve more customers nationwide while preserving the culture and values that have fueled our success.”
The deal is part of Ameribrands’ strategy to acquire founder-led businesses and build a nationwide platform capable of delivering speed, scale, and consistency across facilities projects. That strategy was emphasized by Ameribrands President and CEO Rodney Strickland in the announcement.
“This acquisition is a natural extension of our mission to provide multi-site customers with a single-source partner that delivers speed, scale, and consistency across every project,” he said.
Ameribrands said Genesis will strengthen its ability to deliver fast-turn renovations with minimal disruption to hotel operations, citing the company’s dedicated field crews and track record of execution.
David Panton, chairman of Ameribrands, called the addition of Genesis a strong strategic fit.
“Genesis is an excellent example of the type of entrepreneurial, family-owned business we are proud to partner with,” Panton said. “Genesis brings key resources and infrastructure that shore up the robustness of our platform, making it a strategic next step in our rapid growth journey.”
The transaction was completed in partnership with Little River Partners, a private investment firm. In the release, Little River Managing Partner Tristan Wynn said his team was drawn to Ameribrands’ integration experience and long-term growth plans.
Genesis is Ameribrands’ second acquisition in 2025
Ameribrands was formed in 2023 to acquire complementary businesses in the retail, restaurant, and hospitality sectors. Genesis is its second acquisition this year. In March 2024, Ameribrands acquired Allied Stainless, a supplier of stainless-steel food service equipment.
Its portfolio also includes Ameritech Facility Services, which handles nationwide equipment rollouts and remodels; Access Pro Supply, a distributor of bathroom fixtures; and Adaptive Construction Management, which provides staffing services to corporate clients.
The company said it continues to seek partnerships with regional operators and business owners looking to scale while maintaining their legacy.
“The deep M&A experience and proven integration background of the Ameribrands team made working together a natural fit. We look forward to supporting the company’s continued growth,” Little River Partners’ Managing Partner Tristan Wynn said.
