CoreSite has finished building a 138,000-square-foot NY3 data center with advanced liquid cooling capacities in Hudson County.
NY3, located on Emerson Lane in Secaucus, will support the growing demands of artificial intelligence workloads and enterprise cloud connectivity, according to a Sept. 25 statement by CoreSite.
The new facility has advanced liquid cooling capabilities to provide enhanced thermal efficiency needed to support high-performance computing and AI-driven workloads, the company said.
The thermal efficiency aligns with industry trends identified in the 2025 State of the Data Center Report, CoreSite said.
The report found that cloud interconnection is the primary reason organizations choose co-location facilities for generative AI applications.
NY3 offers direct cloud connections to major providers through CoreSite’s open cloud exchange.
It also provides high-count dark fiber interconnections that help customers expand the strategic and technical application of artificial intelligence to handle increased business demands.
CoreSite reports it is already working with organizations in the financial and technology sectors.
The sectors include high-density research and stock trading environments that require quick and reliable internet connections.
The completion of NY3 brings CoreSite’s national portfolio to 30 data centers spanning approximately 4.5 million square feet across 11 U.S. markets.
CoreSite’s total New York market presence now exceeds 442,000 square feet across three facilities, including NY1 in Manhattan and NY2 and NY3 in Secaucus.
