Dragon Ball fans will be able to commemorate the franchise’s 40th anniversary with a special collection of phone cases and tech accessories from CASETiFY. The new lineup includes fan-favorite characters, both heroes and villains, including Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, Cell and more.

Per PR Times, the new Dragon Ball Z x CASETiFY collection will be released worldwide at 5 p.m. (JST) on June 24. It includes a special-edition smartphone case recreating the most famous scene from the “Cell Saga,” with 3D dynamic effects on the case making it so the Kamehameha takes shape and Goku appears behind Gohan. A limited-edition bundle will also be available with two cases that feature the spine illustrations from the Dragon Ball manga, complete with a special bundle box and serial number card.

DBZ & CASETiFY Unite for New Anniversary Release With Phone Cases and Tech Accessories

In addition to a collection of phone cases featuring iconic Dragon Ball Z characters, CASETiFY is also releasing a special Scouter AirPods Max cover, inspired by the scouter that appears in the series. It comes with removable red and green lenses, making it a unique item for any Dragon Ball fan to add to their collection. CASETiFY’s smartphone cases in the Dragon Ball Z collaboration will be available for Apple, Samsung and Google devices. Prices start at ¥6050 (~US$40), with the tech accessories starting at ¥5,280 (~US$35).

Items will be available from June 24 on the CASETiFY online store and the CASETiFY Collab app, as well as in-store in Japan. The AirPods Max covers and the Adventurous Journey Limited Edition 2-piece bundle are listed as online exclusives. It has yet to be confirmed if/when the U.S. will be involved in the “worldwide” release or how much the items will retail for.

In addition to what was unveiled on PR Times, the official Dragon Ball website also posted a look at more items in the collection, including cases starring Gotenks, Frieza, Cell and Majin Buu. It also posted a look at a Shenron Custom Case that allows fans to add their name or any other words they like to the design to make the case truly one-of-a-kind.

Akira Toriyama’s official successor spoils Dragon Ball Z fans with new artwork featuring a fan-favorite character that doesn’t appear in the manga.

CASETiFY’s new collection is the latest part of Dragon Ball’s 40-year anniversary celebrations. Last month, it was announced that Shueisha would release a brand-new box set collecting the entire original manga series, complete with new alternative covers drawn by renowned shonen manga artists like One Piece’s Eiichira Oda, Jujutsu Kaisen’s Gege Akutami and Bleach’s Tite Kubo. Pre-orders are open until Aug. 3, with the set planned for release on Feb. 4, 2026.

Dragon Ball was created by Akira Toriyama in 1984 and serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump until 1995. The long-running series chronicles the adventures, battles and friendships of Son Goku as he trains in martial arts and searches for the seven mystical Dragon Balls that summon a wish-granting dragon. Dragon Ball has sold over 260 million copies worldwide and spawned numerous TV series, movies and games, making it one of the most successful anime franchises of all time.

The Dragon Ball Z x CASETiFY collection goes on sale on June 24 at 5 p.m. JST (4 a.m. EDT).
