Legacy walk-on, #32 Jace Rayle, is our mark to Purdue basketball as we get closer to just a month away from college hoops.
Technically, 32 days out was yesterday, but Purdue football took precedent and we’re playing catch-up with the Kokomo native whose father played at Purdue before him.
Rayl is entering his third season at Purdue. Rayl got into just one game last season, the season opener against Samford.
Rayle has scored one point in his career and with a dominant looking Purdue team, might get more opportunity to get his first career field goal this season.
But despite being 31 days away from the season, Purdue will get on the court on a national stage in just 19 days whne it travels to take on Kentucky at Kentucky on October 24th. From there, Purdue will host an exhibition at home on October 29th against UIndy.
Purdue’s season starts in earnest on November 4th when Evansville travels to Mackey Arena.
