Man Shot To Death in South Los Angeles

A man was shot to death Sunday morning in South Los Angeles, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched at 12:43 a.m. Sunday to a report of a shooting in the 800 block of West 97th Street, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division reported.

Arriving paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

There was no other immediate information.
