Will Hurricane Priscilla’s remnants bring rain to Phoenix next weekend?

  • October 6, 2025

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — After a beautiful Sunday, a warming trend is on the way this week. It will be another pleasant evening, with overnight lows in the mid-60s. Following a comfortable Monday morning, temperatures are expected to reach around 94 by Monday afternoon.

As a ridge of high pressure builds, temperatures are expected to warm into the upper 90s on Tuesday and reach near 100 on Wednesday. Some moisture out ahead of Hurricane Priscilla in the Pacific may give us a slight chance of showers on Thursday and Friday with highs near 100. Thursday and Friday mornings will also be slightly warmer, with lows in the upper 70s to around 80.

The chances of rain in the Valley will increase to about 20% on Saturday and Sunday, depending on how a disturbance from the West Coast interacts with the remnants of Priscilla. We are fairly confident that higher moisture will move into the area, but will this moisture be able to interact with other atmospheric features to bring rain to the Valley? This is the uncertainty that still needs to be worked out.

For temperatures, expect the upper 90s on Saturday and the low 90s on Sunday. However, if the rainier scenarios materialize, that could lead to highs in the 80s and 90s next weekend.
