Police were investigating a deadly shooting Sunday evening at the Pearl/Arts District DART station that led to weekend service delays for the transit agency, authorities said.
DART spokesperson Jeamy Molina said the incident happened around 7 p.m.
Officials said a suspect was taken into custody in connection with the shooting. The identities of the victim and the suspect were not immediately disclosed.
It was not immediately clear how many people were at the station when the gunfire occurred. Live video from the scene showed yellow crime scene tape around the DART station.
The agency posted on X that passengers could experience delays because of the incident at the station.
