During the season, several players left their respective teams for an overseas commitment with their home country, such as Teaira McCowan and Luisa Geiselsoder, who have been participating in the EuroBasket league, playing qualifying games for the World Cup and Olympics.
On Monday, the Dallas Wings announced that McCowan and Geiselsoder will be returning to the lineup on Thursday when the team faces off against the Phoenix Mercury.
“Welcome back stateside,” posted the official social media account of the Dallas Wings. “Teaira McCowan and Luisa Geiselsöder will return to the court this Thursday vs @PhoenixMercury.”
While McCowan and Geiselsoder were participating in EuroBasket matches, the Dallas Wings acquired the services of Haley Jones.
