LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – The La Crosse Public Library has announced it will be closed for the duration of Monday, October 6.
The closure is due to ta tragic vehicle accident involving a staff member. No further details will be shared.
“We deeply appreciate the community’s understanding and support as our library family navigates this difficult time,” said Dawn Wacek, Director of the La Crosse Public Library.
All library events and programs scheduled for Monday will be canceled or postponed, including the Governor’s Archives Awards reception scheduled for Oct. 6.
La Crosse Public Library will resume normal hours Tuesday, Oct. 7.
