2. Bronx DA: 10 people indicted in connection with deadly summer shootings
Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark says nine people, including a 17-year-old and two 16-year-olds, were indicted in connection with two mass shootings on Aug. 23 and Sept. 1 that left three people dead and seven others wounded.
Clark says another man was indicted for a related shooting on Sept. 2 that claimed the life of a 22-year-old, whose brother was shot the day before.
The 10 people indicted face charges including murder, attempted murder and gun possession.
3. Hostage families remain cautiously optimistic as Israel-Hamas ceasefire talks begin
Advocates for the hostages have continued to rally every Sunday in Central Park for nearly two years.
While advocates sing and pray at the rally, many are cautiously optimistic because President Donald Trump’s would-be ceasefire deal includes the return of all hostages alive and dead.
