Hockey season is right around the corner at American Airlines Center.
As the Dallas Stars prepare to make another run at the Stanley Cup, players on the roster could make some history of their own at various points throughout the season.
One of the most notable personal marks on the way belongs to veteran winger Jamie Benn.
Benn, 36, is stuck on 399 career goals. Benn would become just the second player in franchise history to reach the mark, behind Stars icon Mike Modano. Modano is far and away the franchise’s all-time leading scorer at 557 goals, but Benn took sole possession of second place in 2022.
