Jon Rahm had an event to remember at LIV Golf Dallas last weekend for the wrong reason.
Rahm has been one of the standout performers in the league since joining from the PGA Tour in 2023.
The Spaniard had even made history with one streak he had going up until the tournament in Dallas.
Unfortunately, the 30-year-old’s incredible record came to an end at Maridoe Golf Club after a disappointing performance.

Patrick Reed won LIV Golf Dallas with a birdie in the first playoff hole to beat Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Jinichiro Kozuma.
Rahm was only three strokes behind the quartet, but that was not enough for him to finish in the top 10.
Indeed, the 2023 Masters champion was tied for 11th with Anirban Lahiri at three under par.

This ended Rahm’s streak of top-10 finishes, which had been going since his very first LIV Golf event in Mayakoba.
But his 20-tournament-long run arguably remains the most impressive feat in the tour’s history, even though it has now ended.

Despite Rahm’s unbelievable consistency since moving to LIV Golf, he has really struggled for victories.
He won two events towards the end of the 2024 season (United Kingdom and Chicago), and would have had a three-peat if not for losing a playoff in Greenbrier.
However, 2025 has not been so successful. A T2 at the first event of the season in Riyadh is his only top-three finish so far.
While consistency is key, Rahm is probably bored of playing well without standing on the top step of the podium.
