A 29-year-old man is charged with sparking the Palisades fire earlier this year.
Investigators say Jonathan Rinderknecht likely used a lighter to start a fire on New Year’s Day that smoldered underground and reignited a week later.
Twelve people were killed, and whole neighborhoods were destroyed.
Rinderknecht was arrested in Florida, where he now lives.
