Multiple street closures have been reported in downtown Chicago as a large protest unfolds against the immigration policies of President Donald Trump.
As of 7:30 p.m., the protesters were impacting traffic on southbound Michigan Avenue between Ida B. Wells Drive and Randolph Street.
Protesters had previously marched toward the Magnificent Mile, ultimately stopping at Michigan Avenue and Upper Wacker Drive, according to the website.
The protesters are demonstrating against the deployment of the National Guard to Chicago, with members coming in from Texas to potentially provide security for ICE agents and facilities around the area.
We will update this story with details as they become available.
