With the end of the MLS season approaching, FC Dallas is still in the thick of the playoff hunt.

Not only that, FC Dallas controls its own destiny with just two games remaining against the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Currently eighth in the Western Conference standings, FC Dallas (10-11-11, 41 points) can secure its spot in the MLS playoffs with a road win Saturday night against a Galaxy squad with the worst record in the Western Conference.

FC Dallas’ last regular season match was also against the Galaxy, when they got a 2-1 win in the final regular season home game of the year.
