A redshirt junior defensive back who has yet to appear this season was taken off the Oregon State football roster.
Amarion York, who transferred to OSU by way of Foothill College prior to the 2024 season, is no longer with the program, The Oregonian/OregonLive has learned.
The 6-1 York was a reserve safety for the Beavers (0-6) this season but had not made an appearance in 2025. The exact reason for his departure is unclear.
York played in four games during the 2024 season for the Beavers, recording two tackles and a blocked punt against San Diego State.
