SAN ANTONIO — The medical examiner has identified a man found fatally shot early Thursday in front of a West Side convenience store.
The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. at Highway 90 and Acme Road.

Police found a man lying outside a business with a gunshot wound to the head. The medical examiner identified the victim as 36-year-old Ricardo Contreras. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time.
