Philadelphia police have charged a man seven years after the killing of a Temple University student from the Lehigh Valley.

Daniel Duignam, a 21-year-old student from Tatamy, was shot multiple times inside his off-campus apartment in May of 2018.

Now, 27-year-old Anthony Jackson of Clayton, New Jersey is facing murder and weapons charges. He is being held without bail.

Back in 2018, investigators said Duignam’s apartment had been ransacked in what appeared to be a robbery, and there were signs of a struggle. Authorities at that time said he likely knew the suspect.

Duignam was a 2015 graduate of Nazareth High School, where he ran track and played basketball.
