A pedestrian was struck and killed by a truck after the driver lost control of the vehicle, Dallas police said.
Dallas police said officers responded to an accident at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday in the 5200 block of Harry Hines Blvd. According to police, a truck driver lost control of their vehicle, leading the truck to strike a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where they later died.
Police said the driver was taken into custody, but police did not say what charges the driver may be facing. The pedestrian was not identified by police.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
