With an array of classes to choose from, Pvolve opened its doors to Houston residents in and around the Galleria area in September.
What to expect
Pvolve is a fitness studio that touts low-impact, high-resistance functional movement exercises designed to help women build strength and reduce pain.
According to the studio’s website, Pvolve was founded by Rachel Katzman after she suffered from scoliosis pain and feeling broken from high-intensity workouts.
“We believe getting results shouldn’t come at the expense of your body and you shouldn’t have to choose between looking good and feeling great,” the website states. “Our hope is that this method not only inspires you to form a deeper, more powerful connection to your body, but that it also helps you to live a longer, healthier life.”
The studio offers six different classes that incorporate a variety of strength training, flexibility and recovery. Virtual classes are also available.
