San Antonio police are searching for a man they say assaulted one of their fellow officers Saturday afternoon.
An officer had pulled over a man in a dark colored car on the city’s southeast side about 5:00 pm, when the driver tried to pull away in the 5300 block of New Sulphur Springs Road, dragging the officer along a short ways, according to police.
No word yet on how the officer is doing, but the driver of the dark car got away.
Now he’s the object of a manhunt by police and Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies, including helicopter patrol.
