The Phoenix Suns fell 111-109 to the Brooklyn Nets to close out their preseason slate in China.

It was another close one for Phoenix, with Jared Butler 3-pointer tying things up with 17.9 seconds to go.

But it was Brooklyn’s Tyrese Martin who put the game away behind a pair of free throws after getting fouled at the 3-point line with 2.8 seconds to play.

It was a tough shooting day for guard Devin Booker, who was 4-of-12 from the field but was 3-of-5 from deep for 18 points. He added five rebounds, five assists and a steal.

Dillon Brooks and Oso Ighodaro each added 12 points in the loss.

Rookie big man Khaman Maluach chipped in seven points on 3-of-6 shooting to go along with two rebounds and a steal.

The Suns now head back to Phoenix to wrap up the preseason with a game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
