PHOENIX — A search is underway for a man who was allegedly swept away while attempting to cross flooding near Goodyear on Sunday morning, authorities said.
Officers responded to a call around 3:30 a.m. regarding a person who attempted to cross a wash near 214th Avenue and Narramore Road, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
MCSO said a truck that had been carried away by water, which allegedly belonged to the man, has been located but the man is still missing. ABC15 reported that the search is for Vincent Upton.
No other information was made available.
