Request online or by mail by October 25.

Early Voting

Early voting is available from Oct 25- Nov 2. The poll site is different for early voting than on Election Day, and the hours of operation differ (See link below.)

Election Day Voting

Voting on Election Day Tuesday, November 4 is from 6 am to 9 pm

Find Your Pollsite and View a Sample Ballot

You’ll see that the sample ballot list elections for more than just the Mayor, the Public Advocate and the City Comptroller, all city-wide offices. (Important note: Two of the candidates still listed on the sample ballot, Eric Adams and Jim Walden have dropped out of the race. Two others, as newspaper accounts put it, “have not raised significant funds or polled among leading candidates.” The leading candidates are:
Zohran Kwame Mamdani, Democratic and Working Families parties
Curtis A. Sliwa, Republican and Protect Animals parties
Andrew M. Cuomo, Fight and Deliver party

My sample ballot also lists elections for
Justice of the Supreme Court for the 1st Judicial District (4 to be elected)
District Attorney New York
Borough President New York
Member of the City Council 3rd Council District

There are also six ballot proposals. For more details about these proposals — including the pros and cons by those who support and oppose them, check NYC Votes’ Summaries. (Drill down to the “Learn More” for each proposal.) (“NYC Votes is an initiative of the New York City Campaign Finance Board, the independent city agency that ensures local elections are fair, inclusive, and open.”)
