Jeremy Clarkson has set his sights on offering “matchmaking services”.

In the Clarkson’s Farm star’s typical humour, the name is a play on the adult site OnlyFans. The Farmer’s Dog pub owner, 65, wants to help people find love with OnlyFarmers.

Clarkson, 65, has spoken previously about the loneliness epidemic impacting farmers. “Loneliness is becoming a big issue in rural areas,” he previously said. “Part of the problem is that villages are losing their souls.”

The ex-Top Gear presenter first course of action to stamp out loneliness was set up the Farmers’ Clubhouse in his pub The Farmer’s Dog, a place where they could come to talk.

The OnlyFarmers trademark was sent to the Intellectual Property Office on 17 June through his Diddly Squat Farm Shop, in Oxfordshire, Curdle Hill Farm Ltd. Also, the trademark includes applications for ready-to-wear clothing such as hats.

Previously, Clarkson had applied for a trademark for OnlyFarms — which didn’t list the matchmaking services — on 2 May; it was opposed. Yahoo UK has reached out to Jeremy Clarkson’s representatives for further comment.

Matchmaking services are interesting as Clarkson has had a chequered love life that has courted the attention of newspaper headlines. The motoring journalist has been married twice. There is a question mark over whether Clarkson will get married for a third time.

Clarkson has been in love with Lisa Hogan for nine years since they started dating in 2017, but has yet to pop the question. They moved to the countryside where they set up Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds, where they also have The Farmer’s Dog pub.

Hogan revealed what Clarkson is really like when the cameras aren’t rolling. She told The Daily Mail in 2025: “He’s always incredibly inquisitive… His mind is always on the move. He’ll come in fizzing with energy about the smallest thing. I like that.”

Before they met for the first time, she knew who he was and thought “he was bright — and probably amusing”.

Their relationship plays out in front of the cameras on Clarkson’s Farm. Hogan is at the helm at the Diddly Squat Farm Shop while Clarkson manages the farm. In Clarkson’s Farm series three, Hogan hadn’t lost hope that Clarkson would propose, but the big surprise he had turned out to be a tree.

Hogan teased that she once did propose to Clarkson, but he had no idea. “Jeremy doesn’t think I proposed, but he wasn’t wearing his hearing aids, so no one will know,” she previously told The Times.

There was no mention of marriage in Clarkson’s Farm series four. Cheeky Hogan did take a swipe at Clarkson’s sexual prowess when farmhand Harriet surprises him with the knowledge that pigs do have clitorises. Playfully, Hogan seized the moment to ask: “Do you not know what a clitoris looks like? Have you ever found one?”

Both Hogan and Clarkson have children from former relationships. Hogan is mum to Elizabeth, Alice and Wolfe.

Clarkson has three children — Emily, Finlo and Katya — with his second ex-wife Frances Cain. They were married from 1993 until they separated in 2014.

His first marriage was to Alex Jones, and they were married between 1989 and 1990.
