Riveted Press has acquired world rights to middle-grade fantasy trilogy The Sterling Brothers by debut author Cody Hargreaves.
The first instalment, The Ostrich Dilemma, features estranged twin brothers who must overcome their lifelong rivalry to stop a dangerous ostrich.
Hargreaves is a writer and speaker. He is currently a program officer at the Queensland Writers Centre where he runs the Youth Writing initiative.
He said, “As a 21-year-old writer, my creative goal has always been to create more fiction for young people that is by young people, and I’m very grateful for this opportunity.”
Riveted Press managing editor Rowena Beresford said, “The Ostrich Dilemma is a brilliant story, and Cody is incredibly dedicated to his craft, and to helping other young writers develop their skills.”
Riveted Press plans to publish The Ostrich Dilemma in early 2027.
