Iga Swiatek has already turned one eye to the 2026 season after her quarterfinal exit from the Wuhan Open.

Swiatek will play at the 2026 United Cup, although the Pole does have the small matter of the WTA Finals still to come in 2025.

She will be chasing a 26th WTA Title in Riyadh next month, with a stunning six Grand Slam titles among her honours list.

Four of the successes from Swiatek have arrived at the French Open, with one each at the US Open and Wimbledon.

Swiatek could benefit from a break before the WTA Finals, for which she has already qualified alongside Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, Amanda Anisimova, Madison Keys and Jessica Pegula.

The world number two has now been handed somewhat of a boost heading into the event, having just moved to second place in the all-time WTA money list.

After reaching the Wuhan Open quarterfinals last week, Swiatek has earned $42,945,490 in her career so far.

The updated figure means she has surpassed the $42,867,364 of Venus Williams, and is behind only the $94,816,730 of Serena Williams.

While six-time Grand Slam champion Swiatek has surpassed one Williams sister in career earnings, she remains a long, long way off the other.

But it would be foolish to rule the Pole out of climbing to the very top of the pile given her accomplishments aged just 24.

Her current rival Aryna Sabalenka meanwhile is also set to rise through the ranks given her superb performances of late and her future potential.

They are joined by a long list of legends on the all-time list, and have a fantastic chance to increase their tallies at next month’s WTA Finals, where there is a prize money commitment of $15,500,000.
