PHOENIX — A dog was reunited with its owner after technical rescue teams from the Phoenix Fire Department found him with a stranded hiker on Shadow Mountain.
Rescue teams from Phoenix and Glendale arrived at the mountain around 7:30 p.m. after being dispatched for reports of the lost person who found the dog on the mountain.
The hiker said he was unable to descend due to the lack of lighting.
Firefighters led the hiker and the dog down the mountain trail safely and the dog was then reunited with its owners.

No one was injured in the rescue.
