The Knicks are adding a French big man to the rotation.

Guerschon Yabusele, 29, who revived his career in the 2024 Olympics for France and then last season with the Sixers, agreed to a two-year deal Tuesday with the Knicks, a source confirmed.

The contract is worth roughly $12 million with a player option in the second year, a source told The Post.

Assuming the Knicks use their midlevel exception to ink Yabusele, they’ll be restricted to filling out the rest of the roster with minimum or rookie contracts. On Monday night, the Knicks agreed to sign Jordan Clarkson on a minimum deal.

Yabusele, according to sources, was among the Knicks’ targets at the trade deadline last season but stuck with the Sixers, finishing with averages of 11 points and 5.6 rebounds while shooting an impressive 50% overall and 38% on treys.

The development of his long distance shooting turned the 6-9 Yabusele into a coveted floor spacer.

In his first NBA go-around, Yabusele flamed out quickly with the Celtics after being drafted 16th overall in 2016. He then logged multiple seasons overseas before his breakthrough in the Olympics, when he impressed against Team USA — including a highlight dunk on LeBron James — and helped France earn silver.

Yabusele was named to the tournament’s Second Team and resurfaced with the Sixers, earning a larger role after injuries again sabotaged Joel Embiid. Yabusele played 70 games last season — starting 43 — while averaging 27.1 minutes.

With the Knicks, Yabusele is positioned for a prominent role as one of a few frontcourt options — with currently Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson as the only other proven commodities.

Yabusele’s deal indicates the Knicks won’t be signing Al Horford, who could leave the Celtics this summer because Boston is eyeing a gap year.

Yabusele is part of a growing French connection inside the Knicks, with recent draft picks Pacome Dadiet and Mohamed Diawara on the roster.
