Downtown Phoenix crash leaves 2 police officers injured

PHOENIX — Police are investigating a crash in downtown Phoenix that left three people injured on Saturday afternoon, including two police officers.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the collision occurred near Seventh Avenue and Grant Street before around 1:30 p.m.

Police said that the two officers and another person were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The area will reportedly be closed for a few hours as Phoenix PD investigates.
