PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A ridge of high pressure will build over the next few days, and this will have a warming effect on our temperatures.
Another cool and comfortable evening is on the way with overnight low temperatures dropping into the low 60s in Phoenix and some upper 50s in the surrounding metro area. Highs on Sunday will reach around 89, which is one degree above the normal high temperature of 88.
Monday is also forecast in the upper 80s, followed by a high near 90 on Tuesday. However, it looks like the 90s will be short-lived.
Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 80s, followed by highs only in the low 80s on Thursday. Temperatures may then increase to around normal, which is the upper 80s, towards the end of the week.
With high temperatures near or just above normal, it will be a nice weekend and a pleasant start to the work week in the High Country. A disturbance moves in Tuesday night through Thursday morning, which may bring a few mountain showers and some breezy conditions.
