PHOENIX — Two dead bodies were found inside a vehicle in Glendale on Sunday morning, according to police.
The two bodies were found near 51st and Peoria avenues after family members of a man missing since Friday used a phone-tracking app to go to his location.
After finding the bodies, the family members contacted the police.
A cause of death has not been determined, but police said it does not appear to be the result of a gunshot.
Police also said both individuals are believed to be adult males, but gender, age and identity have yet to be determined due to their “varying” stages of decomposition.
One of the men is believed to be a friend or acquaintance of the man who was reported missing.
The Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office will be conducting a further investigation.
No other information was made available.
