HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Houston police are blocking a controversial crosswalk in Montrose that could impact your Monday morning commute.
Overnight, ABC13 crews saw a handful of protestors at the rainbow crosswalk at Westheimer and Taft following reports that it was going to be painted over.
Police could be seen setting up barricades across all four sides of the intersection.
It’s unclear when the painting is set to take place, but the closing at this major intersection will likely impact residents in the area.
