PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man was killed overnight after he was struck by a vehicle in north Phoenix.
First responders were called to the area of 27th Avenue and Northern Avenue around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday for the pedestrian-involved crash.
Police officers arrived at the scene and found a man with serious injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died. His identity has not yet been provided.

The vehicle involved in the crash left the scene before police arrived. Phoenix PD has not yet provided any suspect vehicle information, and it’s unclear what led to this crash.
Detectives responded to investigate overnight, but the area is now fully reopened.
