South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley is under a month from the start of a new season.
Staley is entering her 18th year and is arguably one of the greatest of all time. She has coached the Gamecocks to three NCAA championships and four more Final Fours.

Ahead of the season opener on Nov. 3 against the Grand Canyon Lopes, Staley has been making her rounds on her public speaking tour.
Staley is going around talking about her life through her new book, called “Uncommon Favor: Basketball, North Philly, My Mother, and the Life Lessons I Learned from All Three.”
On Tuesday, Staley made a big announcement on social media about her upcoming appearance at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina.

She revealed that Gamecocks legend A’ja Wilson will join her.

Wilson, a South Carolina native, will return back to the school where won a national championship at in 2017.

Wilson is coming off her third WNBA championship in four seasons with the Las Vegas Aces. She’s also a two-time Finals MVP and four-time WNBA MVP.
