On Monday, June 23, I reported for jury duty at the Superior Court in San Diego. As I am a retiree on a fixed income, unable to afford the $40-a-day charge to park at the courts, I drove to Fashion Valley transit parking and rode the Trolley. The stench of urine was immediately overwhelming. To add insult to injury, it was the same stench on my return trip.
How can anyone be expected to champion and support our public transit system when it’s an obvious health concern?
