Taylor Sheridan’s espionage thriller Lioness is filming scenes in downtown Fort Worth.

The latest round of production for the show’s third season will take place between 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and 6 a.m. on Friday, according to Downtown Fort Worth Inc.

Here are the streets that will be closed:

  • Main Street between 5th and 6th streets
  • Main Street between 7th and 8th streets
  • 8th Street between Main and Houston streets

Fort Worth police will be on-site to manage the flow of traffic.

It’s unclear what the Lioness scenes entail, but based on a road closure map reported by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, crews may use the downtown Hilton as a stand-in for Washington D.C.’s Hay-Adams Hotel. That hotel in the nation’s capital has long been a favorite of dignitaries.

The fictional setting is apt, considering that in Lioness, Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldaña star as CIA operatives working to rebuff terrorist threats. The intelligence agency’s headquarters are in the D.C. metro area.

Sheridan, the Fort Worth-bred show creator behind Lioness as well as Yellowstone and Landman, has been expanding his footprint in North Texas. He recently launched a production campus in Fort Worth’s AllianceTexas development, and his slew of Paramount+ series have been spotted filming across the region.

Lioness and Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch shot in downtown Dallas this month, according to film permit records obtained by The Dallas Morning News.

At the time of Lioness’ filming, crew members wearing badges with the show’s name were spotted outside The Adolphus’ Rodeo Bar.
