Notes of Interest

The NASCAR Cup Series takes to the streets of downtown Chicago this weekend, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr is ready to wheel the No. 47 Rate Chevrolet through the tight corners and iconic cityscape.

This marks the third consecutive road course race in Chicago for Stenhouse and the Hyak Motorsports team, who are carrying momentum from a strong showing last weekend. With Rate back on board as the primary sponsor, the team is locked in and focused on making moves in the Windy City. At Rate, we partner with people who play to win. They move fast, take smart risks, and stay locked in on performance,” said Victor Ciardelli, CEO of Rate. “That’s exactly what Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Hyak Motorsports bring to the track. This partnership is built on a shared mindset, whether it’s winning a race or helping someone win a home.”

The Grant Park 165 is unlike any other event on the schedule, with a 12-turn, 2.2 mile course that weaves through the heart of the city. With limited room for error and the potential for changing weather conditions, strategy and track position will be critical. Hyak Motorsports is focused on qualifying strong, avoiding trouble early, and being in position to capitalize late.

The Grant Park 165 will be televised live on TNT this Sunday, July 6, at 2pm ET.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr, Driver of the No. 47 Chevrolet for Hyak Motorsports:

“I’m excited to light up the streets of Chicago and represent Rate in front of their hometown crowd.”
